Irwin Guides, based out of Crested Butte, offers guided ice park and backcountry ice climbing for all ability levels. Their team can meet you in Lake City or is happy to provide transportation from Crested Butte or Gunnison.

San Juan Soda Company

San Juan Soda offers ice tools, crampons, and boots to rent or purchase, as well as a sizable selection of rope, hardware, harnesses, helmets, and gloves. If you or a friend are interested in trying ice climbing, stop by the shop and they’ll get you set up!
